I am branching out into professional photography.
I have finally decided to get more serious about my photography. I realized that I was born with a gift the other night after taking pictures at the Bayside/TGUK concert. Please contact me if you are interested in licensing my work or hiring me to take pictures at your wedding, funeral, etc.

Oh wow, Steve. I never realised that photography could touch me like this. I never knew that this sort of talent could exist. I love how much of your personality these shots show -- strength and real courage. Real courage. I'd love to know what sort of equipment you used on these. Nikon? Canon? Did you take a tripod with you, or are you just blessed with steady hands? The dark silhouette of the crowd really splits open your chest and bares your soul. Then the blur of the motion in the next photograph- no, wait, the next piece of art, makes the viewer feel like they're right there beside you. I'm not even going to go into the four lights, each standing out starkly against the orange of the background. They stand for something, I bet. Mean something to you. Something for me to think about, I guess.
while it has an interesting new style, it lacks the stability required in active recognition of key elements. a tripod would benefit you greatly, and always remember: expose for the shadows, and if you take care of the edges, the middle will take care of itself.

those pictures are so good they make me want to cry
your a musician so you can handle criticism. these really just look like they were taken by a short kid in the back at a show. they lack any sort of purpose. you need to work on playing with exposure times, don't listen to people about the tripod... bringing a tripod to a show is ridiculous (but any other place is cool).... you can also use a flash while still maintaining a "concert like" feel... read your camera's manual as well... it will help take you off the "auto" setting
